CHRISTMAS AND CHARITY GALA – 2018

On December 21, 2018, Friends of the Brands organized the first edition of the Christmas & Charity Gala. 100 inspiring guests together in the beautiful Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam for a very special charity evening. That’s where our Christmas & Charity gala stands for, getting as much money as possible for charity. For the first edition, we worked with the Emma Children’s Hospital. A foundation that helps children with a complex, acute and/or chronic condition. Friends of the Brands thinks this is an important topic that needs more attention.

The evening started with an overwhelming performance by Glennis Grace in the Council Chamber of the Sofitel Legend The Grand. After a fantastic performance, we could start dinner.

We were spoiled with delicious food, delicious wines, but above all a lot of fun. The dice game started after the main course. A game that was already known to many guests because it’s often played with Sinterklaas and Christmas. The guests were given the opportunity to buy tickets to participate in the game. And above expectations, we lost all the tickets within no time. The game yielded no less than € 18,000.

The evening ended with an auction. A mascot package of Ajax, a flight in a stunt plane and a dress from Bloomfeld was auctioned. The auction raised €12.500 euros.

For the Emma Children’s Hospital, we have raised over €30.000. We can’t wait for the next edition.
