TARGET
The Gift Suite is an exclusive Friends of the Brands event format that is executed in various editions throughout the year. During the Christmas Edition in 2019, which also marked the 10th anniversary of this spectacular event, Friends of the Brands invited the leading top 50 female celebrities, bloggers, vloggers, socialites and influential journalists to connect them with a selection of carefully selected brands.
The Presidential Suite of the five-star Okura Amsterdam hotel was transformed into luxury gift rooms where 20 top tier brands were given the opportunity to present their products, services and brand experience to the invitees.
CONCEPT
On Tuesday morning 3th of December 2019, 20 brands in the field of beauty, fashion, lifestyle and gadgets presented their products and services during the Gift Suite to a carefully curated group of guests. After a short introduction and welcome, while enjoying a delicious breakfast and a private concert by Edsilia Rombley, The Gift Suite was officially launched. The ladies were introduced to 20 beautiful brands, which were spread over the different rooms in the Presidential Suite of Okura Amsterdam. This year Friends of the Brands tradition linked the charity Het Vergeten Kind to this Gift Suite edition. The guests collected beautiful gifts for Het Vergeten Kind.
After the event, everyone went home with a richly filled goodie bag, including the products of the participating brands. This way everyone could relive the Gift Suite at home.
RESULTS
During the Friends of the Brands events, the brands were able to create a personal and authentic relationship with brands. As a result, exposure was generated through different channels, including the invitees’ social owned channels. In addition, Santé, media partner of The Gift Suite Christmas 2019, has published a 2-page article in their monthly magazine (circulation 194,000) and on their website (MUU 79,111)
