Like My Brand Women is an annual exclusive brand activation event format of Friends of the Brands with the aim of connecting brands in the field of beauty, fashion, lifestyle, gadgets and travel with 50 influential Dutch women (Dutch celebrities, social influencers, top entrepreneurs, socialites and influential journalists). This is accomplished through cross-media communication, both via online and offline channels.



On Tuesday evening, October 29th, 2019, the West-Indisch Huis was transformed into a “Healthy Business Women” venue. The brand booths of six carefully curated brands were designed entirely in the style of the respective brands. After a short presentation by Dionne Schulf, CEO Friends of the Brands, the guests were divided into six groups and, while enjoying delicious drinks and bites, six 15-minute long brand experiences took place. The purpose of the speed date sessions was to introduce the influential invitees to the brand and to create authentic and personal matches where possible. The evening ended with the presentation of the ‘Woman of the Evening’ Award, an award presented every year to the most stylish and inspiring woman of the evening. Kim Feenstra, supermodel and photographer, was this year’s lucky winner. The guests went home with the well-known goodie bag from Friends of the Brands with the products of the participating brands and much more.


In addition to the enormous reach generated by the influential guests, the camera crews of Shownieuws were present. The event was captured in a six-minute item in the much-watched entertainment program of SBS6. The event was also featured in the popular reality series Life of Kim (by Kim Feenstra) on Videoland.
